Ryan is an Emmy Award-winning copywriter who has worked on Citibank, BMW, Porsche, VW, Lee Jeans, Travelers, Harley Davidson, Starbucks, Holiday Inn Express, Timex, The Bahamas, Virgin Mobile Subaru and United Airlines. He has won every major advertising award, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clios and the 5th-Grade Presidential Fitness Award. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and has been singled out as Adweek’s Campaign of the Year.
He spent 15 years at Fallon before stints at Carmichael Lynch and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He was also a valued employee of the Bismarck YMCA and Mr. Steak franchises.
He has degrees in Film and English and began his career as a movie critic before dashing his mother’s dreams by going into advertising.
